Honourable Adewale Morufu Adebayo (Gangaria), Member House of Representatives representing Irepodun/Orolu/Olorunda/Osogbo Federal Constituency has affirmed his commitment to Youth and Women Empowerment as a fundamental part of his electioneering promise.
Starting from Today, 15th December to Sunday, 17th, 2023, Two hundred and Seventy (270) carefully selected youths and women across the length and breadth of Irepodun/Orolu/Olorunda/Osogbo Federal Constituency, Osun State will be exclusively trained on Various Skills that will reposition their lives and build their sense of confidence to be financially Independent.
These selected Constituents will be mentored to acquire business and leadership knowledge that will further expose them to veritable opportunities and skills that will boost their earnings and Productivity.
During this intensive three-day training and empowerment initiative, these young men and women will learn the rudiment of Agency Banking – an opportunity to expand the scope of retail financial transactions with little capital, the trainees will learn Adire & Batik production – a fast growing sector in Contemporary world of fashion, and finally, participants will be trained on how to be a successful make-up artists- another self sustaining skills capable of reducing joblessness in our society.
Seasoned trainers are on ground to train participants and impact them with creative ideas on how to be job creators instead of becoming job seekers with or without formal education.
The Program is a three-day event, starting from today, and shall climax in a remarkable style on Sunday 17th, December, 2023.
The Program holds daily at Hotel De Charity, Kobo Area, Osogbo.
Accreditation Starts by 9;00am today, then followed by training proper by 10am.
Start-up cash grant shall be given to all the two hundred and seventy trainees at the end of the training and they shall all be awarded a certificate of attendance.
The first two days of the session is exclusively for the trainees while the third day is the grand finale.
