The President General Mdzough U Tiv World Wide, Chief CP Iorbee Ihagh (rtd) Psc (+) Pmi has unveiled the commencement of Tiv Nation Arise.
The initiative is a non partizan group in Tivland that is commited for the unity, peace and progress in Tivland irrespective of political affiliations.
Chief Ihagh who was accompanied by the President Tiv Youths Organization (TYO) Comrade Andy Aondongu Anzah described the group as one of the commited groups in the land and called on the Tiv People to give them the necessary and needed cooperations and support to enable them actualize their set goals, a statement signed by the media aide to the President-General, Mr. Nicholas Ishom has indicated.
According to the statement, in his remark, Convener of the Tiv Nation Arise, Hon Harris Tersoo “highlighted the cardinal objectives of the association (Tiv Nation Arise) noting that, the unity of Tiv people is non negotiable, and so, there is need for us to come together and live in Peace, without Peace there will be no Unity, without Unity and Peace there will no development”.
President General also performed the decoration of their Patron, Dr John Tsua in their unity tags including principal officials of the Association.
He advised them to work in tanden with the principle of ‘oneness’ for the love of the Tiv ethnic nationality.
The event took place at the Pool Wing of Benue Hotels, Makurdi.
