The BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp initiative, championed by Representative Bamidele Salam, has received financial support and moral support from two House of Representatives members.
The members are Hon. Martins Esin from Akwa Ibom, and Hon. Ojeme Ojotu of Benue state, House of Representatives committee chairman for Youth Development and Inland Waterways, respectively.
The BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp is an annual initiative by Rep. Salam which aims at training members of the Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun state in areas that will stimulate their productivity and make them self sufficient using the best business and leadership practices.
At the 3-day event which took place in the Olorunsogo area, Egbedore Local government, the two members who traveled from Abuja to show solidarity with one of their very own stated that the initiative is a visionary one and urged the constituents to take advantage of the life-changing platform provided to them.
While lauding Rep. Salam for embarking on the mission of redeeming the youths from the shackles of poverty and illiteracy, Hon. Esin said the development of the Nigerian youths is supposed to remain the priority of the right-thinking politicians noting that it is only by so doing that a sustainable assured mutual prosperity will be enhanced.
After carefully listening to the presentations made by the 4 groups, Hon. Esin commended the willingness of the youths to develop their skills.
The duo lawmakers donated N920,000 to four groups that presented the best business plan to ensure that the young people have access to the tools they need to reach their full potential.
They commended all the participants for their readiness and willingness to learn new things for the growth and development of the country.
