The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the the first lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs Patience Umo Emo.
This was concerned in a press statement signed and made available by the Chairman of the Senators, Senator Abbdulaziz Musa Yar’adua Friday
The statement reads thus: “It is with profound sadness that I, on behalf of the Northern Senators Forum, extend our deepest condolences to Governor Umo Eno on the passing of his beloved wife, Her Excellency, Pastor Patience Umo Eno. Her extraordinary legacy, marked by unwavering support, care, and compassion, has left an indelible impact on countless lives.
“Through her visionary initiative, Golden Initiative For All (GIFA), she transformed the lives of the poor and less privileged, exemplifying kindness and devotion. As a rock-solid pillar of strength, she provided unwavering encouragement and support to Governor Umo Eno.
“Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt, and we pray that Governor Umo Eno, the people of Akwa Ibom State, and her loved ones find strength during this immense loss. We remember her as a shining example of kindness, compassion, and devotion, inspiring many as a role model for peaceful living.
“While we pray that God lovingly accept her soul and grant her eternal peace, we also enjoin you to accept our heartfelt sympathies.”
