As Africa Celebrates 2024 gears up to launch in just 5 days, one standout event to take center stage is the Down Syndrome & Other Intellectual Disabilities event.
Organized by the Deborah Foundation, this event is devoted to raising awareness and tackling the barriers that millions with intellectual disabilities face across Africa.
With support from partners like the African Union, the Netherlands and Irish Embassies, the EU Delegation, the European Parliament, and GIZ, this event aims to foster understanding and respect for individuals of all abilities building a society where everyone can thrive and contribute meaningfully.
