The Senate Press Corps (SPC) of the National Assembly has conferred the “Award of Excellence for Strategic Synergy for Good Governance” on the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi.
The prestigious award was presented to Dr. Abdullahi at a colourful ceremony held at the NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja, which was attended by dignitaries from various walks of life.
Receiving the award, Dr. Abdullahi expressed his gratitude to the Senate Press Corps for the honour, assuring them of his continued positive relationship with the media. He likened the award to a boost that would energize him to do more in the service of the nation.
“I dedicate this award to Nigerians who have been yearning for good governance,” Dr. Abdullahi said, adding: “The task of good governance has never been more urgent, and I am committed to playing my part in delivering on this promise.”
