Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho has launched a fantastic initiative to provide free medical care to those in need across the nine local government areas of Kogi East. This outreach program, manned by a team of doctors, pharmacists, and other medical personnel, aims to provide essential medical services, including free drugs for diabetes, hypertension, and malaria, as well as free eye surgeries.
The program, which was flagged off at the Primary Health Care Onyedega in Ibaji local government, will cover all nine local government areas of Kogi East. This is a remarkable effort by Senator Echocho to support the health and well-being of his constituents, particularly the most vulnerable members of society.
Some of the services that will be provided during the outreach program include: free medical consultations from a team of experienced doctors; provision of free drugs for patients with diabetes, hypertension, and malaria; making available team of medical doctors to perform free eye surgeries for those in need; giving free medical glasses as part of the outreach program and; free treatment to patients with dental problems.
This initiative is a shining example of Senator Echocho’s commitment to the welfare of his constituents, and it’s a great step towards improving the health and well-being of the people of Kogi East.
