The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has been working tirelessly to economically empower Nigerians, according to his Media Aide, Mr. Lere Olayinka. Since assuming office, the Minister has focused not only on infrastructural development but also on boosting the economy ¹.
In a recent news briefing, Mr. Olayinka highlighted the Minister’s achievement in issuing over 5,000 Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) to land allottees in the FCT within the last year. This move is seen as a testament to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at improving the economy.
With a Certificate of Occupancy, individuals can access various benefits, including legal proof of ownership,
access to financial institutions, and *protection from government acquisition*
The Media Aide emphasized that having a C of O opens up numerous opportunities, enabling Nigerians to improve their economic situation.
