In a historic appearance, Dr. Peer Lubasch, the Managing Director of Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, stood before the Senate Committee on Works, NASS, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Lubasch, who was accompanied by top executives of Julius Berger, including Dr. Abdulaziz lsa Kaita, Director Administration, and Mrs. Adenike Obisan, Head of Legal Department, began by introducing himself formally.
The Senate Committee on Works, chaired by Senator Barnada Mpigi, had issued a warrant for Lubasch’s appearance to address concerns over the utilization of funds for the reconstruction of the Calabar-Odukpani-Itu highway ¹. Lubasch’s address marked a significant moment in the committee’s investigation into the project.
