The last few days have provided me great opportunity to interact with great Nigerians of different ethnic, religious and political ideologies.
Each point that I visited has strengthened my firm believe that our country is one and there are better days ahead. In Damaturu, Yobe State, on the 8th of March , 2025, I met with the governor, His Excellency Mai Mala Buni, a great party man and leader per excellence.
We had quality time and discussed issues of good governance. I sincerely commend Governor Buni for the massive development he is bringing to the people of Yobe.
From Yobe, I moved to Maiduguri in Borno State and was received by my colleague the Right Honourable Speaker of Borno State.
In Maiduguri, Sunday, 9th March, 2025, I met with Lecturers of Benue extraction of the University of Maiduguri under the leadership of Prof Jacob Ioraa. As a former National President of Community of Tiv Students, CTS, I interacted with the CTS of UniMaid. I also met with the leadership of Mzough u Tiv, MUT.
As Benue citizens in the diaspora, I took time to brief them of the modest efforts the government of Benue State under the leadership of His Excellency, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia is making. I solicited both their support and prayers for the government.
I want to express my gratitude to my colleagues; the Right Honourable Speakers of Yobe and Borno for making my visit to their respective states memorable.
We are a great people and Nigeria is a great country.
