Dr. Tobias Obiechina, the Chairman of the Labour Party ((LP) Chairman in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has issued a call to action for party members to unite and embark on a membership drive.
Speaking in an open speech, during nthe party’s meeting over the weekend, Obiechina urged everyone who has left the party to return, including those who were formerly with Abure.
Obiechina emphasized the importance of unity among party members, citing it as crucial for achieving victory in upcoming elections, reiterating that the party will focus on membership mobilization, recognizing that a strong population is essential for success.
He therefore lamented seriously that anyone seeking to stand for election will be held accountable to the people, ensuring the party and Nigeria move forward.
Obiechina therefore praised the judiciary for its upright judgment, expressing renewed confidence in the institution, just as he extended a warm welcome to former members, including Abure supporters, to return to the party and contribute to its growth.
Dr. Tobias Obiechina’s emergence as Chairman of the Labour Party in the FCT was made by the National Transition and Caretaker Committee of the party.
His leadership is expected to play a key role in strengthening the party’s position in the nation’s capital.
