‎‎Dr. Mongol receive secondary school mates on a courtesy visit to felicitate with her on appointment as MD/CEO

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Benue Geo Mining Company Ltd, Dr. Erdoo Mongol, on 27th June 2025, received members of the Old Students Association of NKST Secondary School Adikpo on a courtesy visit.

‎The visit, which took place in her office at BENCEDI, had 10 members of the association in attendance.

Rev. Luther Timin, who led the team, said the visit was to congratulate their member on her recent appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Benue Geo Mining Company Ltd.

‎During the visit, members took turns to thank God for Dr. Mongol’s promotion pointing out that, they also shared memories from their school days and praised her hard work, which they said had been evident even during their time in school together.

‎A statement by Lawrence Tersugh Hon,
Media Coordinator, Benue Geo-Mining Company Limited which was obtained by News Headquarters said, in her response, Dr. Mongol expressed deep gratitude for the visit and said she was overwhelmed by the love and support shown by her former classmates.

She noted that their presence reminded her of the strong foundation and values they had all received during their time at NKST Secondary School.

‎“Dr. Mongol went on to extend her warmest appreciation to the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for finding her worthy of the opportunity to serve as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Benue Geo Mining Company Ltd.

‎“While encouraging members of the association to remain united and supportive of one another, regardless of where life had taken them”, the statement added.

The Benue Geo Mining Company Ltd Boss, further promised to carry the association along in her journey, not just in words, but through active involvement, collaboration, and opportunities that would benefit members both personally and professionally.

Dr. Erdoo who said she was filled with excitement and humbled by their show of love, prayed for God’s help and protection upon all of her mates, while expressing willingness to carry members along in order to foster collaborations going forward.

She also spoke about her desire to host the entire members of the association preferably on a dinner where members both at home and diaspora will reunite together.

Others on the delegation were; The vice chairman- Mr. Tsehe Terhemen, the Financial Secretary – Mr. Tsetim Tersoo, The women Coordinator- Mrs. Comfort Shawon, Mrs. Iorkyaa Salome, Mrs. Terhemba Masebeen Precious and Mr. Benjamin Gbatse.
Highlights of the visit were the presentation a giant roll-up banner along side a congratulatory letter by the the association’s leadership, snapshots and refreshment.
