For effective and smooth exercise, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has extended the application deadline for its ongoing paramilitary recruitment exercise by one week. The recruitment portal, initially set to close on August 4, 2025, will now remain open until August 11, 2025, according to a press statement from Rtd Maj Gen A M Jibril, Secretary the Board on Sunday.
The CDCFIB emphasizes that its recruitment process is completely free of charge, adding that the board remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process.
According to the Secretary to the Board, Maj.. Gen. of the Board, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd), the extension is aimed at providing additional opportunities for applicants willing to enlist in any of the paramilitary services and the board.
Paramilitary services open for employment are Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Correctional Service and Federal Fire Service
Applicants are advised to submit their applications through the official recruitment portal before the new deadline.
