This man who is a one-man performing theater conscripts his audience to join in his short and witty songs.
Born in 1984 in Mbatyav, Gboko local government area of Benue State, he dropped out of primary school in the fifth year.
He became a farm hand travelling from place to place. That was how he met Iwa Dwem in Adudu, Nasarawa State, and picked up his performance style between 2004 and 2006.
Back to Benue he started to practice the art from place to place and started to attract patrons.
Several of them have given him motorcycles and several other gifts. A prominent Benue son sponsored his treatment abroad when he had eyesight challenges and he has recovered his sight in one eye.
Married with children he continues to play his trade from place to place turning popular humour into short songs which thrill his audience.
He uses the humor as commentary on challenges in the society, and that’s what resonates with his audience.
That’s Terhemba Igba, popularly known as KPAREV man SHITILE.
