The Controller General of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Olumode Adeyemi Samuel, made history today with a groundbreaking working visit to the Abuja Metropolitan Station in Kubwa and the Wuse Command in Abuja, accompanied by the Service’s Management Team. In a press release from DCF P.O. Abraham,

FFS, National Headquarters, Abuja on Thursday, this landmark visit marked a first in the Service’s history, providing the CGF with a unique opportunity to engage directly with officers and personnel, evaluate their work environment, and inspect facilities to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational effectiveness.

During the visit, CGF Samuel reiterated that firemen are the backbone of the Service’s life-saving mission and reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing their welfare.

In a bid to boost morale and performance, he announced plans to provide comprehensive insurance coverage for all firemen and introduce awards and recognition programs to honor excellence and outstanding achievements.

The CGF also assured personnel that efforts are underway to create a more conducive working environment, underscoring his administration’s dedication to supporting those who protect lives and property.

This visit signals a new chapter in the Service’s commitment to its personnel and operational excellence.
