The Igwe Awobo of Iruogbo, Dusogu, Awkuzu, HRH Ikechukwu Nwokechi, has given kudos to the people of Anambra (Ndi Anambra) State for reelection of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as governor, citing his remarkable transformation of the state and inclusive leadership style.
Addressing journalists in Abuja, Nwokechi said Soludo’s reelection is a testament to his outstanding performance and the people’s confidence in his leadership.
“The governor has done an excellent job in transforming the state, giving it a new face and a positive direction,” he said.
Nwokechi commended Soludo for his efforts to improve infrastructure, citing the construction of several roads, bridges, and public buildings across the state.
“The governor has shown that he is a leader who is committed to the development of Anambra State and the welfare of its people,” he said.
The monarch also praised Soludo’s approach to governance, saying he has carried all stakeholders along, including traditional rulers, and has demonstrated a willingness to listen to the people. “Soludo has shown the world that he is not a ruler, but a leader who is dedicated to serving the people,” Nwokechi said.
Soludo’s achievements in the state include the establishment of new educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and initiatives aimed at promoting agriculture and entrepreneurship. The state has also seen a surge in investment and economic growth, making it one of the most attractive destinations in the country.
The governor has also implemented policies aimed at improving security and reducing crime in the state. “Anambra State is now one of the safest states in the country, thanks to Soludo’s efforts to improve security and protect the people,” Nwokechi said.
Nwokechi urged the people of Anambra to continue to support Soludo, saying his leadership is crucial to the state’s continued development.
“We must rally behind our governor and support him as he continues to transform Anambra State,” he said.
The Igwe Awobo also commended Dr. Emmanuel Ikechukwu Nweke, the Executive Chairman of Oyi local government area, for his support for the Soludo administration. “He has been very supportive, and I commend him for his performance,” Nwokechi said.
Nwokechi urged Nweke to continue his good work, saying his efforts have contributed to Soludo’s success. “Keep doing what you have been doing, and I’m sure the people of Oyi will continue to support you and the governor,” he said.
Soludo’s reelection has been widely welcomed by stakeholders in Anambra State, who are eager to see the continuation of his transformative policies and programs.
