The Abuja Chapter of Mary Mount College (MMC) Agbor Alumni recently marked the end of 2025 with a joyous celebration, bringing together members to reconnect, reflect, and look forward to new beginnings.
The event, held on November 15, 2025, at the Poolside of Lakeview Apartments, Jabi, Abuja, was a testament to the alumni’s dedication to fostering sisterhood and making a positive impact.
Speaking to our reporter, Joan Abdullahi, President of the Abuja Chapter, shared that the evening was filled with achievements, awards, and inspiration.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of awards to past executive members and the inauguration of Mrs. C.O Atanda-Nze as the Grand Patron of the chapter.
The alumni also celebrated International Women’s Day and visited an orphanage, embodying the group’s commitment to community service. Abdullahi praised MMC as “very good” during her time, adding that the institution has since become even more modern.
Abdullahi, who leads the FCT Chapter, described her leadership style as inclusive and unifying, saying, “I have a lovely personality that brings people of all walks of life together”.
The Mary Mount College Agbor Alumni Association, established in 1954, remains a beacon of unity and empowerment for its members across Nigeria and beyond.
