Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has emphasized the importance of technology in driving organisational success, describing it as the “engine of modern business ambition.”
In a press release from Mary Ali, Head, Press and Public Relations in the Ministry, on Tuesday, the Minister made this remark while receiving Renaissance Africa Energy Company’s management team, led by Managing Director Chief Tony Attah.
Tunji-Ojo highlighted the Ministry’s digital transformation achievements, including the Local Content Act, passport system overhaul, and Advanced Passenger Information system implementation.
He stated that these changes aim to disrupt ineffective systems and build a better future for Nigeria, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“We may not be responsible for the Nigeria of the past,” he said, “but we will be judged by the Nigeria we hand over to the next generation.”
Chief Tony Attah reaffirmed the company’s commitment to energy security in Nigeria and Africa, managing Shell Petroleum’s onshore assets.
The Minister assured continued support for strategic partners and investors.
