Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, has commended the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of Ministry staff, describing them as the driving force behind its achievements over the past two and a half years, according to a press statement from Mary Ali, Head, Press and Public Relations on Friday.
Speaking at the Ministry of Interior Town Hall Meeting and Reward and Recognition Award Ceremony in Abuja, Dr. Tunji-Ojo expressed gratitude for staff support and sacrifices, noting the occasion was meant to appreciate their efforts.
He attributed the Ministry’s peace, unity, and commitment to collective effort, stating every award belongs to the workforce. “Significant milestones were recorded in 2025, but progress must be continuous,” he said, emphasizing reform and development with “no full stops, only commas.”
The Minister thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for consistent support, saying his leadership style fostered an enabling environment for impactful initiatives. The event recognized staff efforts, promoting excellence, accountability, and performance.
Dr. Tunji-Ojo wished staff a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year, encouraging them to remain steadfast and innovative as the Ministry advances its mandate.
