Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Hon. Princess Chinwe Clara Nnabuife. I represent Orumba North and South Federal Constituency of Anambra State.
What bills have you sponsored?
I’ve co-sponsored the bill for the creation of Ekiti State from South East Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria, and advocate for reserved seats for women in parliament.
How can women get reserved seats?
It’s a gradual process. We’re meeting stakeholders and have the President’s endorsement.
Aren’t you satisfied with the number of women in parliament?
No, we need more women. They play vital roles in society.
Do you think that women support each other?
In my constituency, women are my greatest supporters. It shows I’ve proven my worth.
What have you achieved for your people?
I’ve empowered women, done capacity training, constructed roads and classrooms, and installed solar street lights, among others.
What’s next for 2026?
I plan to continue legislating effectively and providing dividends of democracy.
What about APGA’s prospects?
APGA is our identity in Anambra. We have four or five members in the National Assembly and will clinch more.
Advice for constituents?
Support Governor Chukuma Soludo’s efforts. Anambra State will be a business, industrial, and technological hub.
Final thoughts?
We have challenges, but Soludo is transforming Anambra State beyond our imagination.
