The Member representing the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure victory in all six Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and lead the nation once again in 2027.
Hon. Obika made this statement during the APC Geopolitical Zones and FCT Town Hall, themed “One People, One Voice, Vote for APC,” where he lauded the transformative leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He explained that his decision to return to the APC was driven by the party’s massive developmental strides and its long-standing position as the true platform for grassroots progress.
The lawmaker emphasized the importance of strengthening the party’s geopolitical zones within the FCT, describing them as the bedrock of the party’s strength and electoral success.
He commended Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido, the FCT Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, for his efforts in entrenching the Renewed Hope Movement at the grassroots level across the Territory.
Hon. Obika also disclosed that he had moved a motion in the House of Representatives seeking the approval of six additional Mandate Secretaries for the FCT to enhance Area Council representation in the FCT Ministerial Council.
The motion was adopted by both the House and the Senate, and the resolution has since been communicated to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Minister of the FCT.
The Town Hall event underscored the APC’s growing momentum in the FCT and its resolve to consolidate power through unity, grassroots engagement, and strategic leadership.
Hon. Obika vowed that the APC would secure victory in the FCT, saying, “With the solid structure we have built and our winning tactics, we are moving from Labour Party to APC in full force. The APC is the party to beat, and we are here to deliver.”
