Hon Chinedu Obika representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the National Assembly has congratulated, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the incumbent Executive Chairman of the area council on his reelection.
Obika addressed journalists to that effect immediately after the announcement of the results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) within the week.
He urged support for the Executive Chairman and advised him to keep doing what made the people to reelect him.
The legislator however called on all those who contested the election with the chairman to join hands to see that the area council moves to the expected level, even as he added that politics shouldn’t be seen as “a do-or-due-affair,” but a game of the wish of God.
Politics without bitterness, he went on should be encouraged and practiced, for the country to move on.
“Let us shun: politics with bitterness; politics of antagonism, for us to move ahead. Let us also support the winner of the election so that others will support us when we win, and take the result of the election as the wish of God,” he appealed.
