As preparations gather momentum for Africa Celebrates 2026, organisers have begun showcasing highlights from the successful 2025 edition, positioning this year’s event as a premier platform for business networking, investment promotion and cross-border collaboration across the African continent.
The countdown to the continental gathering comes with the release of memorable moments from the opening ceremony of Africa Celebrates 2025, underscoring the event’s growing reputation as one of Africa’s leading platforms for connecting governments, businesses, innovators, investors and the global African diaspora.
Scheduled to hold from 10 to 15 November 2026 at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the event will be held under the theme, “One Africa, One People: Uniting Culture, Innovation and Enterprise for a Shared Prosperous Future.”
Beyond its cultural significance, Africa Celebrates has evolved into an economic platform designed to stimulate trade, tourism, entrepreneurship, innovation and investment opportunities across Africa.
The programme is expected to bring together policymakers, development partners, captains of industry, entrepreneurs, creatives and technology innovators to explore new avenues for sustainable economic growth and regional integration.
Organisers said the 2026 edition will build on the achievements of previous events by creating stronger linkages between African businesses and international investors while promoting the continent’s vast economic potential through strategic partnerships.
The event has attracted an impressive coalition of institutional and diplomatic partners, including the African Union, the Ministry of Tourism of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Embassies of Nigeria, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire and Colombia, as well as the New Zealand, United States and European Union Missions to the African Union.
Other partners include the British Council, Kana TV, PG Records and Ocean Wave Group.
In a move expected to facilitate greater continental participation, Ethiopian Airlines, widely recognised as the “New Spirit of Africa,” has been named the official airline for the event. The partnership is expected to improve travel connectivity for delegates, exhibitors, investors and participants from across Africa and beyond.
Industry observers believe Africa Celebrates 2026 will provide a unique marketplace for showcasing African products, promoting tourism, fostering innovation and expanding commercial partnerships capable of driving inclusive economic development.
Organisers have invited governments, corporate organisations, development agencies, entrepreneurs and members of the African diaspora to partner with or participate in the event.
