An Ido Osun based young entrepreneur and a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Muhydeen Odeyemi, popularly known as Hammola has appreciated the good gesture of the Chairman, Egbedore South Local Council Development Area Ido-Osun, Hon. Sakiru Adeleke for organizing free medical outreach for people of the community.
Hammola described the gesture as worthwhile and timely and a perfect initiative of Hon. Adeleke and his cabinet at a time when it is difficult for people to find means of livelihood.
Odeyemi in a statement said “we’re blessed in Egbedore to have the sagacious and kindhearted politician as the Chairman of our local government who is also divinely surrounded by intelligent cabinet members who have the love of their community at their hearts.
“The programme was a success as many beneficiaries from far and near came and were able to find solutions to various heath challenges which have been making life difficult for them.
“This is a good sign that Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is a blessing to the entire Osun State as both the state and local governments are up to task in the spread of democracy dividends to the entire nook and cranny of the state.
“I thank Hon. Adeleke and the entire cabinet members of Egbedore South LCDA and I urged everyone in the community to continue to support the present administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke whose policies have transformed Osun positively after just 13 months.
“I also thank the Chairman, Public Account Committee of the Federal House Of Representatives, Rep. It would be recalled that Hon.Adeleke organized a highly successful Free Healthcare initiative in collaboration with the Association of Resident Doctor Unions Teaching Hospitals, Osogbo where residents of the local government received free health and medical treatment for all kinds of illness such as hepatitis, diabetes, management of hypertension, management of DM, general health promotion, free ophthalmologist examination and distribution of free reading glasses.
The surgical outreach also featured skilled medical procedures such as herniorrhaphy, herniotomy, hydrocelectomy, breast lump excision, lipoma excision, Sebaceous Cyst Excision, papilloma excision and ganglion excision.
