Members of Saint Andrews Adikpo Old Boys Association (SAOBA) Set ’91 have pledged to mobilise their members, families, friends and well-wishers in support of the re-election bid of Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, saying the progress recorded under his administration deserves consolidation.

The group made the commitment on October 23, 2026, when they paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy, Hon. Denis Terzungwe Iyaghigba, in Benue State.

In an address delivered by the Set Leader, Msughter Nicanor Azembe, the classmates congratulated Iyaghigba on his appointment, describing it as a reflection of his competence, integrity and dedication to service.

They also commended Governor Alia for his developmental initiatives across the state and assured him of their continued support and mobilisation for his re-election.

Responding, Iyaghigba thanked his former classmates for the visit, describing it as a demonstration of friendship, solidarity and commitment to one another.

He enjoined members of the set to continue to be “their brothers’ keepers,” as they had consistently demonstrated over the years, urging them to sustain the bond of unity and mutual support that had characterised their relationship.

The Commissioner also called on the group to carry all their mates along, stressing the importance of inclusiveness, love and collective responsibility.

Iyaghigba further urged members of SAOBA Set ’91 to remain committed to their alma mater and continue contributing positively to its growth and development.

He appreciated the set for its support and goodwill, assuring them of his commitment to serving Benue State diligently and making meaningful contributions to the development of the state.

Hon. Iyaghigba and his wife, Mrs. Maureen Mlumun were dressed in traditional attire.
