The Kwande APC Critical Stakeholders Makurdi Forum on Thursday, 29th October 2026, received the Kwande APC Party Chairman, Dr. Felix Kor, who was accompanied by the Governor’s Liaison Officer (GLO) representing the Governor of Benue State in Kwande Local Government Area, Engr. Philip Chiga. The meeting was held at Balawa Crescent, High Level, Makurdi.
The Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Simon Tordue Nomanyan, warmly welcomed the visiting dignitaries and expressed appreciation for their visit and engagement with the Forum.
In his remarks, Dr. Kor appreciated the leadership and entire membership of the Critical Stakeholders Forum for their patience, steadfastness and continued political engagement. He acknowledged their commitment to supporting the Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Party Chairman particularly expressed gratitude to the Forum for remaining committed despite what he described as inadequate attention to this important group of political stakeholders, whose influence and leadership roles remain significant within their respective communities across Kwande Local Government Area.
In addition, the Governor’s Liaison Officer, Engr. Philip Chiga, who represented His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, commended the Chairman and members of the Kwande APC Critical Stakeholders Makurdi Forum for their political engagement, dedication and continued participation in the affairs of the party.
He further acknowledged the Forum’s commitment to supporting the Governor and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in their respective 2027 re-election bids.
The meeting provided an opportunity for interaction between the party leadership, the Governor’s representative and the Critical Stakeholders Forum, with discussions underscoring the importance of sustained engagement, recognition of grassroots political stakeholders and cooperation within the party.
The Forum expressed appreciation to the visiting dignitaries for the engagement and reaffirmed its commitment to constructive participation in the affairs of the APC in Kwande Local Government Area.
