Joint Police, Military, rescue sixteen kidnapped victims in Kogi

Joint Police and Military Team has rescued sixteen kidnapped victims in Kogi state.

Kogi Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, in a statement through the Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya, reiterated the Command’s unwavering determination to sustain the fight against criminalities in the state

According to the statement “Consequent upon kidnapped of eleven passengers from Peace Mass Transit Bus and five others from Sienna Bus along Ette Enugu Ezike road to the bush on 25Th February, 2024, the Joint Kogi Police and Military team from Enugu State promptly swung into action trailed and Rescued all the victims from the bush unhurt.

Efforts is ongoing to apprehend the suspects and bringing them to deserved justice”
The Commissioner of Police, Kogi Command, CP Bethrand C. Onuoha, psc (+), while commending the Joint security team, reiterated the Command’s unwavering determination to sustain the ongoing onslaught against criminalities in the state.

He appealed to the good people of the State for their continued Collaboration with the Police and other Security Agencies in ensuring adequate security of lives and property.
