Hon. Adesanya Okunade, the Chairman of Egbedore Local Government Council of Osun state has mourned the Passing of Kabiyesi, Oba Dr. Adeen Aderemi Adedapo Sapoyoro, the Alayemore and Olojudo of Ido-Osun.
Hon. Adesanya Okunade who has expressed his deep sympathy to the people of Ido-Osun following the demise of the Alayemore of Ido-Osun Kingdom, HRM Oba Dr. Adeen Aderemi Adedapo Sapoyoro, the Olojudo of Ido-Osun also described the death as a painful exit.
In his statement mourning the passing of the Olojudo, Hon. Okunade extended his condolences to the royal family and the entire community.
He described the late monarch as a peacemaker who consistently promoted love and unity in his jurisdiction and beyond.
“Oba Adedapo’s contributions to the growth and development of Ido-Osun and Osun State—socially, traditionally, politically, and economically—will always be remembered.
“The passing of Oba Dr. Adeen Aderemi Adedapo Sapoyoro is a significant loss to the community, but his good legacies will remain in history.
“On behalf of the people of Egbedore Local Government, we pray that God heals the wounds, grants the family and the Good people of Ido Osun the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and bestows eternal rest upon the departed soul”, the Egbedore Chief Executive stated.
