The Governor of Bauchi state, Sen. Bala Muhammad has expressed confidence in the ability of the new leadership of the National Commission of Almajiri and Out-of School Children’s Education to cater for the education needs of the vulnerable children in the country.
Sen. Bala Mohammed made this known when the Executive Secretary of the commission, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris visited him at the government house in Bauchi.
Governor Muhammad said with the track record of Dr. Idris, the challenges of Almajiri and out of school children would be tackled headlong.
The Executive Secretary had earlier visited the Bauchi state First Lady, Dr. Aisha Bala Muhammad who solicited the support of the commission towards integrating western education into the Almajiri curriculum under her Muhibba Foundation and the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation.
Dr. Aisha Muhammad said with the wealth of experience of the head of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, she was optimistic of the desired partnership that would shape the future of the millions of vulnerable children in the country.
The Executive Secretary expressed his appreciation for the reception and gave an assurance of maximum cooperation.
