In a significant and highly productive stakeholders’ meeting held yesterday at his hometown, Hon. Adesanya Okunade, the Chairman of Egbedore Local Government Awo, demonstrated the power of unity and progress. The meeting, attended by all political leaders from Ara Ward 1 and 2, including political appointees, ward party chairmen, women leaders, youth leaders, and local executives, marked a pivotal moment in the local political landscape.
The event was expertly moderated by Hon. Adenle Adegoke, with the welcome address delivered by Hon. Joshua Ojedokun. In his opening remarks, Hon. Ojedokun expressed gratitude to Almighty God for His grace, welcomed all stakeholders, and prayed for the party’s continuous progress.
According to a statement issued by the media unit of the local government, Hon. Adesanya Okunade, in his own speech , emphasized the importances of unity and progress within the party. He highlighted the importants of the second-term ambition of His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State. The chairman also acknowledged the contributions of Rep. Bamidele Salam, the proud son of Egbedore Local Government, who represents the good people of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency. Hon. Okunade urged everyone to continue promoting the party’s ideals and start mobilizing for the Party
In a testament to the meeting’s success, Mr Shola Ojo ( aka Baba Ata) joyfully appreciate the efforts of the Chairman and the Party Leaders for there efforts so-far in resolving all internal crises and assure the stakeholders that Ara is united for the party’s success. Mr. Sunday Oyetade from Are Ilu’s Compound Ara ward 2 expressed his appreciation to the Chairman for his efforts towards fostering Unity among the Party Members and the party leaders, he pledged his unwavering support for the progress of the Party.
The meeting saw the warm reception of several esteemed party leaders, including the Local Government Party Chairman, Alhaji Sulaimon Adebayo, Former Party Chairman and SSA to the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Amidu Olagoke, Secretary to the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Nurudeen Olagoke, Secretary to LCDA Chairman, Hon. Akin Alabi, and Hon. Hassan Adeniyi LGEA Board Member.
Alhaji Amidu Olagoke, expressed his delightment at the gathering especially the calibre of People Conveyed at the Residence of the Chairman,He centered his speech on love, unity, and progress at all party levels. Additionally, the Party Chairman Alh Sulaimon Adebayo relayed greetings from the State Party Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi, urging everyone to learn from past challenges, resolve all internal conflicts, and work collectively for the party’s forward movement. He emphasized the importance of voting for Governor Adeleke for a second term, advocating for love, unity, and progress.
The meeting concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Hon. Lateef Amoo, who appreciated all visitors and expressed gratitude for their commitment and support.
This landmark meeting clearly demonstrates that all the Stakeholders in Ara Ward 1 and 2 have concluded and determined to focused on second term ambition of the Governor and also a testament that the entire community is united and prepared to support Governor Adeleke’s second-term ambition with unwavering loyalty and enthusiasm.
