In a significant show of unity and support, the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbedore Local Government, Awo, has officially and unanimously endorsed Hon. Okunade Adesanya, popularly known as “Olori,” as their candidate for the upcoming Osun State Local Government Chairmanship Election.
News Headquarters gathered that the endorsement took place at the residence of the esteemed party leader, Chief Mrs. Atinuke Oyawoye, the former PDP South West Woman Leader. The meeting, presided over by the Local Government Party Chairman, Alhaji Sulaimon Adebayo, saw the convergence of prominent PDP leaders in the local government, including Chief Kolade Adeleke, Chief Olakunle Ojo, Alhaji Jogunade Olanipekun, and Hon. Rotimi Ogunrinande, the Honorable Member representing Egbedore Local Government in the Osun State House of Assembly.
The media unit of the Hon. Okunade in a statement ment informed our correspondent that other notable leaders present were Alhaji Amidu Olagoke, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor; Hon. Akin Ajetunmobi, Special Adviser to the Governor on School Monitoring; Mrs. Oluwaseyi Ayodele, Special Adviser to the Governor on Homegrown School Feeding; Hon. Okun Obiremi, a Board Member of the House of Assembly Service Commission; Prince Akinade Alao, a former State Officer; Alhaji Jimoh Oseni, former PDP Local Party Chairman; Dr. Soji Akinpelu, former Local Government Chairman; Hon. Waheed Jimoh, former Leader of the House and SA to the Governor; Hon. Adenle Adegoke, former Caretaker Chairman; Mrs. Comfort Odediran, former Local Woman Leader; and Prince Abiola Aderinto, the Local Government PDP Secretary.
The unanimous endorsement of Hon. Okunade Adesanya is a testament to his grace, commitment, visionary leadership, and integrity. The leaders expressed their confidence in his ability to lead Egbedore Local Government to greater heights and pledged their full support for his success in the forthcoming election. This endorsement also reflects the unity and commitment of the PDP leadership in Egbedore toward ensuring the success of the party and the continued progress of Governor Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke’s administration.
