Earlier today, members of the Public Accounts Committee of the Nigerian House of Representatives led by its Chairman, Representative Bamidele Salam engaged in a fruitful study exchange with their counterparts from the National Assembly of Kenya.

The meeting focused on several key issues, aiming to enhance collaboration and share best practices in public sector financing which held at National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya.

Discussions highlighted the importance of increasing the representation of women and youth in parliamentary roles, emphasizing the need for inclusive governance.

Both committees advocated for a Pan-African approach to economic planning, recognising the potential for shared growth across the continent.

Additionally, the exchange addressed the enhancement of education and cultural programmes as vital tools for strengthening bilateral relations.

The two committees expressed commitment to fostering a deeper partnership, aiming to build on shared goals for sustainable development and effective governance.
