FCT Minister commissions 11km Yangoji Sukuku Ebbo road, Promises Ebbo bridge construction

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has commissioned the 11km Yangoji Sukuku Ebbo road in Kwali Area Council, reiterating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to the development of the FCT.

The road project, which was promised by President Tinubu, demonstrates the administration’s dedication to improving the lives of FCT residents.

During the commissioning ceremony on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, Barr. Wike assured that the promise to provide the council with additional police divisions would soon be fulfilled, as the structures are currently under construction. This move aims to enhance security in the area.

Responding to a request by the Kwali Area Council Chairman, Hon. Danladi Chiya, Barr. Wike promised the construction of the Ebbo bridge, which connects Kwali and Kuje Area Councils.

The Minister stated that the bridge project would be undertaken, citing President Tinubu’s commitment to fulfilling the needs of FCT residents.

The FCT Minister commended Gilmor Construction Company for the high-quality work on the road project.

He also praised the company’s initiative to renovate the community’s Primary school as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.

President Tinubu’s administration has prioritized infrastructure development in the FCT, with several projects commissioned in recent times.

The President has emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in driving economic growth and prosperity.

The commissioning of the Yangoji Sukuku Ebbo road is a testament to the administration’s commitment to fulfilling its promises and improving the lives of FCT residents.
