The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has extended its condolences to the family and friends of Immaculate Chidinma Obasi, a member whose life was snatched by the cold hand of death recently, while giving birth.
Immaculate, 28, was a staff member of the Urban and Regional Affairs AMMC and hailed from Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Her sudden death, the statement went on has sent shockwaves through the NUJ FCT Council, with members expressing sadness and paying tribute to her memory.
The NUJ FCT Council’s condolence message, signed by Secretary Comrade Jide Oyekunle, reads: “May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
The council’s expression of sympathy reflects the union’s commitment to supporting its members during difficult times.
Immaculate’s untimely passing has left a void in the lives of those who knew her.
Her colleagues and friends will remember her for her contributions to the Urban and Regional Affairs AMMC and her impact on the community.
