Jaja out, Adeyemi in as FFS Controller General

The Deputy Controller General (DCG) Olumode Samuel Adeyemi has formally taken over as the Controller General (CG) of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), as Engr. Abdulganiyu Olola Jaji retires. The handover was peacefully done on Wednesday at the CG’s Office in the FFS Headquarters, Abuja.

However, Adeyemi expressed his appreciation for the outgoing CG Jaji, even as he praised his immense contributions to the growth and progress of the Service. He noted that Jaji’s legacy would remain a reference point for the Service, underscoring the impact of his leadership.

Adeyemi also appealed for unity among officers and staff, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving the Service’s objectives.

Adeyemi assured Jaji of his willingness to seek his guidance whenever necessary, demonstrating his respect for his predecessor’s experience and expertise.

This gesture highlights Adeyemi’s commitment to building on the foundations laid by Jaji and ensuring continuity in the Service’s operations.

The handover ceremony was attended by senior officers of the Service and key departmental heads, underscoring the significance of the occasion.
