Honourable Joshua Chinedu Obika, the member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at the National Assembly has He called on Nigerians to continue praying for the country’s peace, unity, and prosperity, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to overcome the challenges facing the nation, identifying tribalism and ethnicity as the most significant challenges facing Nigeria.
Obika made the assertion when he was conferred with the distinguished “Moses Order of Merit” award by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), FCT Chapter, on Thursday, in recognition of his dedicated service and commitment to moral leadership and national unity.
In a statement by Emenike Egbusunwa, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the legislator, Obika urged the Church to intensify prayers for Nigeria’s leaders, seeking divine guidance to reject ethnic division and promote national unity.
He reiterated the need for Nigerians to keep praying for the country’s peace, unity, and prosperity, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to overcome the challenges facing the nation.
