SGF’s 70th birthday: PMA secures freedom of 19 inmates in 3 states By Amos Aar

As part of activities marking the 70th birthday anniversary celebration of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Dr George Akume, the Patriotic Movement for Asiwaju- Shettima (PMA) 2023 has paid an option of fine for the release and acquittal of nineteen (19) inmates in Plateau, Benue and Kano states.

PMA National Coordinator and 2019 presidential candidate in Nigeria, Her Excellency Rabia Yasai Hassan Cengiz, who made this known in a chat with SkyNews on Monday said the humanitarian intervention is in honour of the SGF who has immense passion for freedom of people.

According to the National Coordinator, PMA has already paid fine for nine (9) inmates in Plateau State namely Musa John, Musa Ibrahim, Christopher Ezekiel, David Markus, Lawrence Samson, Stephen Fehintola, Inusa Danladi, Mallo Yakubu and Nenene Tambaya.

In Benue State, the humanitarian expert cum astute politician said in a couple of days to come, nine inmates including Agada Godwin, Ameh Christopher Uloko, Msugh Akaakondu, James Terkimbi Anande, Sesugh Tersoo, Bethel Jehovah Ushahemba, Peter Kwaghga, Terfa Gaadi and Zungwenen Tsepav Jeron, will benefit the same humanitarian gesture while names of Kano inmates to be paid for their release and acquittal will be unveiled soon.

Dr Cengiz who congratulated Senator Akume on his forthcoming birthday on behalf of PMA both in Nigeria and in the diaspora also appreciated member representing Gboko East constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs Beckie Torkwase Orpin, for her resilience and support to PMA as North Central Matron of the political movement.

SkyNews has observed that PMA has been supportive of the distinguished Senator George Akume and his principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu before their coming on board as president and SGF respectively.

PMA was the first group to be granted access by the SGF to pay him a congratulatory visit on assumption of office.
