NTDA, ATA move to drive tourism dev’t nationwide

The Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA) has forged a significant partnership with the African Travel Commission (ATC) to drive tourism development nationwide.

During a recent meeting at the NTDA Headquarters in Abuja recently, ATC representatives, led by Executive Director Dr. Lucky George, met with Mr. Richard Ovie Esewhaye, Director Overseeing the Office of Director-General.

The discussion centered on a unified approach to boosting tourism through collective strengths and sustainable growth. Dr. George emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting cultural exchange and tourism development in Nigeria and Africa.

In response, Mr. Esewhaye acknowledged the sector’s past challenges, noting that previous administrations had not fully capitalized on tourism’s potential. He expressed commitment to implementing practical strategies for tourism growth under the current administration.

This partnership aims to revitalize Nigeria’s tourism industry and promote cultural exchange, leveraging the expertise of both organizations to drive growth and development.
