The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Israel in agriculture, security, education, healthcare and technology to drive Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, stated this on Tuesday while receiving the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Michael Freeman, in Abuja.
Akume said Nigeria’s vast agricultural resources, large population and economic potential can be unlocked through strategic partnerships and investment.
He commended Israel’s achievements in agriculture, healthcare, education and technology, describing the country as a model of resilience and innovation.
Ambassador Freeman expressed Israel’s readiness to collaborate with Nigeria to boost food production through advanced agricultural technologies and capacity development.
