Preparations are in top gear for the staging of Africa Celebrates 2026, the continent’s flagship Pan-African cultural and economic gathering, scheduled to hold from 10 to 15 November 2026 at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Organisers announced that the 2026 edition will be held under the theme, “One Africa, One People: Uniting Culture, Innovation and Enterprise for a Shared Prosperous Future,” with a focus on strengthening continental unity through culture, innovation, entrepreneurship and strategic partnerships.
The event, widely regarded as the world’s largest Pan-African celebration, is expected to bring together policymakers, business leaders, cultural ambassadors, innovators, creatives, investors and members of the African diaspora to promote collaboration and advance Africa’s development agenda.
Building on the remarkable success of the 2025 edition, organisers said the forthcoming event is poised to be larger and more impactful.
Last year’s programme attracted participants from 43 African countries, as well as members of the African diaspora and people of African descent representing 15 countries across the globe.
According to the organisers, the expanded 2026 edition will provide an even stronger platform for showcasing Africa’s rich cultural heritage, promoting innovation-driven enterprises, encouraging cross-border investments and fostering meaningful dialogue on the continent’s shared future.
Africa Celebrates 2026 is being organised by Legendary Gold Limited in partnership with Afronova.
The event enjoys the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Embassies of Nigeria, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire and Colombia, as well as the New Zealand, United States and European Union Missions to the African Union.
Other partners include the British Council, PG Records, Kana TV, while Ethiopian Airlines will serve as the Official Airline for the event.
Organisers expressed confidence that the 2026 edition will further consolidate Africa Celebrates as a premier platform for advancing continental integration, strengthening cultural diplomacy, promoting innovation and unlocking new economic opportunities across Africa.
