SCREENING AND DOCUMENTATION EXERCISE FOR SHORTLISTED MARINE MARSHALS

The Benue State Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy hereby invites those who were earlier picked as Marine Marshals to present themselves for screening and documentation.

‎

‎Those who were picked for this exercise are to note the schedule which hold as follows:

‎

‎Thursday, 6th August and Friday, 7th August, 2026

‎

‎Venue: Benue State Public Service Institute (former Staff Development Centre), Makurdi.

‎

‎Applicants must meet the following requirements:

‎

‎• Must be between 18 and 40 years of age

‎

‎• Provide a letter of identification from their Local Government Traditional Council

‎

‎• Indicate Local Government and State of Origin

‎

‎• Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN)

‎

‎• Present a Certificate of Fitness from a Government Hospital

‎

‎• Demonstrate swimming proficiency

‎

‎• Have boat handling experience

‎

‎• Boat engineers and marine artisans are encouraged to apply

‎

‎• Submit two recent passport photographs

‎

‎• Provide a valid means of identification

‎

‎• Possess a minimum of SSCE with at least five credits

‎

‎All the shortlisted candidates are advised to come along with original copies of their credentials to the screening venue.

‎

‎This initiative is part of government’s commitment to enhancing safety, regulation, and professionalism across waterways in Benue State.
