The Ministry of Interior has officially unveiled “INTERAS” as the name for its Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS).
According to a press statement from Ozoya Imohimi (Press & PR) on Friday, the unveiling was announced by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, during a performance contract signing ceremony with the Ministry’s directors.
Dr. Ajani expressed her delight at the high level of engagement and creativity displayed by all departments in the internal naming competition.
The competition aimed to give the ECMS initiative a unique and culturally resonant identity. With INTERAS now formally named, the Ministry is set to launch the ECMS, poised to lead the change in efficient, paperless governance, ensuring greater transparency and accountability.
The ECMS is expected to enhance the Ministry’s operations, promoting a more efficient and effective management of content.
The Permanent Secretary’s announcement marks a significant milestone in the Ministry’s journey towards digital transformation.
