The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has approved the promotion of 30 Controllers of Corrections (CCs) to the rank of Assistant Controller General of Corrections (ACG).
This decision reflects the board’s commitment to merit-based advancement and professional excellence within the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
This was contained in a press release on Tuesday from, Deputy Controller Umar Abubakar, the Public Relations, NCoS.
The promotion exercise is a testament to the CDCFIB’s dedication to recognizing and rewarding outstanding service and contributions within the NCoS.
The newly promoted officers have demonstrated exceptional leadership, operational competence, and specialized expertise in various areas, including Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, and Public Health.
According to the release, the promotion of the 27 officers was done in recognition of their exceptional leadership and operational competence., that if the remaining three officers was done for their specialized contributions in Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, and Public Health.
The promotion of these officers is expected to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the NCoS, ultimately contributing to the safety and security of the nation.
