Africa Celebrates has entered into a strategic partnership with Kuriftu Resorts to host its 2025 edition of the Africa Celebrates Cultural Night.
The landmark agreement was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Kuriftu Resort and Spa African Village, located in Melka Nono, just 30 minutes from Addis Ababa.
The highly anticipated Africa Celebrates Cultural Night 2025 is scheduled to take place on November 6, promising a vibrant evening of funfair, live music, traditional dance, and a rich display of African cuisines from across the continent.
Signing the MoU on behalf of Africa Celebrates were Lexy Mojo-Eyes, President/CEO of Legendary Gold Limited, and Tesfaye Gebremichael, Executive Director of Afronova. Representing Kuriftu Resorts were Mahlet Tadiwos, Deputy Operations Director, and Yonaiel Tadiwos, Operations Director.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, stakeholders emphasized the importance of the partnership in advancing the vision of Africa Celebrates, which is anchored on promoting Africa’s unity in diversity.
The initiative encourages economic, social, and regional integration of the continent by showcasing its vast cultural heritage while also creating opportunities for trade, investment, science, and technology exchange.
“Africa Celebrates is more than an event; it is a platform that harnesses the power of culture, arts, and heritage as catalysts for building a prosperous and integrated Africa,” said Lexy Mojo-Eyes.
Packaged and organized by Legendary Gold Limited in partnership with Afronova, Africa Celebrates enjoys strong institutional backing from the African Union Commission, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), as well as the Embassies of Nigeria, Burundi, and Côte d’Ivoire. It is further supported by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
Additional partners include the U.S. Mission to the African Union, Morocco Mission to the African Union, European Union Delegation to the African Union, Ethiopian Airlines, Skylight Hotel, Kana TV, and DCT Entertainment, among others.
The 2025 edition is expected to attract government officials, diplomats, business leaders, artists, and cultural enthusiasts from across Africa and beyond. With Kuriftu Resort and Spa African Village as the host venue, organizers say participants will enjoy a world-class experience in an authentic African setting.
