The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has reiterated his commitment to youth development and transformative leadership in Nigeria during an interactive session with members of the Junior Chamber International (JCI).

Speaking at the event, Minister Tunji-Ojo emphasized that true leadership requires preparation, integrity, and a relentless commitment to excellence. He described leadership as both scientific and practical, stressing that the outcomes of leadership are determined by the quality of one’s input.
“Leadership is not accidental; it is intentional,” the Minister stated. “It is about character, perseverance, and excellence. And above all, leadership is trust, the greatest capital any leader can possess. Once lost, it is nearly impossible to regain.”
The Minister encouraged JCI members to seek mentorship, support, and partnerships, highlighting the importance of collaboration and guidance in achieving leadership goals.
By emphasizing the importance of intentional leadership, Minister Tunji-Ojo aims to inspire young leaders to strive for excellence and build trust with their communities. His message underscores the need for purposeful leadership development in Nigeria’s youth.
